artist statement

Etc. is building experiments in working and playing together by modeling systems for process-activated creative productions. We explore how shared narratives are potential fields for recording connections and pretending differently. We are interested in how pictures and languages are like thinking through things and things in their thinking. They show us how our memories are our words and our actions. We are interested in focus as a mode of consciousness, as a matter of distraction and intent and movement. We like archaeologies and anthropologies. We investigate the spaces of mystery, magic, childhood where we find figures that depict sure facets of our experience in this other world with one another. We activate exchanges by seeking out knew ledges. We adventure discourses of discovery that demonstrate how our relative experiences can manifest in ongoing collaborations of life as art.
