ELSEWHERE COLLABORATIVE AND UUCG TO HOST YOUTH SUSTAINABILITY WORKSHOPS

This environmental adventure will take place on July 31st from 10AM-4PM at Elsewhere Collaborative. Participants from ages 4-18 are invited to explore sustainable practices in gardening, cooking, and building through a series of interactive workshops led by Elsewhere staff.

The event will kick off with an organic gardening workshop out back in Elsewhere's urban garden. Post planting, participants will move into Elsewhere's cooperative kitchen to make delicious pizzas from scratch. After creating posters to promote environmental awareness, the pizzas will be served. After lunch, the workshop will move back out into Urban Green to decorate Elsewhere's new bike shed and build birdhouses.

Please join us for some fun in the sun as we explore sustainable living at Elsewhere, from seed to table. Parents of participants will need to bring $3 for lunch, and all are encouraged to dress for the July weather.
