Talena Sanders, a light collector/joy chaser, makes digital videos and video installations, live video mixes,

and shoots analog photography. She also designs audience participatory projects in audio, photographic,

and video media. 

 

Her work examines the roles environment and interaction play in defining individual identity – how we

affect our surroundings and physical appearance to project our ideal identities, the ways human

interactions inform our sense of place and purpose, and the visual communication of these exchanges. 

From Kentucky, lives and works usually in Brooklyn but now in Greensboro, NC.  Attended the University

of Kentucky.
