Kaylan Szafranski was an amazing Assistant Director of Development, whichs means that she was an  admin for an

aggressive funding agenda via grant writing, community engagement, and connections with local, regional and national

innovative organizations. Furthermore, she assisted in general museum functions, up keep, and event support. She

maintained the ability to answer questions regarding museum procedure, item whereabouts, safety, security, past

projects, broad historical particulars, detailed functions of pulley systems, and hardware usage. Born in Poland, grew

up in New York, relocated to Greensboro. Owns two BFA’s in Art History and Theology from Salem College. Kaylan

utilized her role at Elsewhere to explore the process and reaction of creative ritual and its function as a medium for

public interface. She also enjoys creating puppets intended for factual exchange, visual organization patterns, and

musical compositions.
