Program Director Danna Rooth leads the residency program and works to connect creators, build community, and advance visions for collaboration. She is forever from the greater Chicagoland area and holds a BFA in Fiber and Material Studies from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Danna's work at Elsewhere is an exciting extension of her art practice- as it explores the idea of art organizing as artmaking. She also makes little drawings, psychedelic glitter pictures, embroidered anomalies, and new friends whenever possible.
